Below you will find a number of frequently asked questions on HUMANager and on how to use it.

GENERAL

1. Can I play the simulation at home?
 Yes, the simulation can be played from every location that has an Internet connection.

2. Do I have to install extra software before I can begin?
No, to play HUMANager you only need an Internet connection.

3. Can HUMANager be played over Blackboard?
Yes, it is possible to place a link on Blackboard for HUMANager. You can start the simulation by clicking this link.

4. What are the minimum system requirements?
For the simulation to work properly, MS Internet Explorer 5.1 is required.

5. What is the problem if I cannot log in?
There are 2 different login codes, 1 for the supervisor and 1 for the participant. You can make this choice on the ‘LOG IN’ screen.

6. Do participants also get a password?
Yes, the supervisor of the simulation creates these accounts. With his (general) account, he can log in and create the accounts for the different
teams. With these data the teams can log in on the competition.

7. How is it possible that decisions are not saved, even though I hit the Save button?
It is most likely that you have hit the Save button when you were logged in for too long. When there has not been any activity for a couple of
minutes, the connection is automatically closed. The user does not get a message of this, therefore decisions can be “saved”, but they will not be
stored.

8. How is it possible that the financial report of the last period is not visible, even though this period has been calculated?
This is due to the fact that the data has not yet been “refreshed”. In most cases logging off and on again can solve this problem.
